Here is yet another Android-powered phone known as the Sciphone N19, where it will retail for $150 a pop while offering a Samsung S3C2448 400MHz processor, a 2.8″ touchscreen display at 320 x 240 resolution, 128MB ROM and an equal amount of RAM, a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 2-megapixel camera and compatibility with GSM 900/1800 MHz bands. Sounds pretty average in our books, and it certainly won’t upset the Android smartphone hierarchy anytime soon.

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
