Sharp paraded their Net Walker smartbook at CEATEC where this device will merge both smartphone and netbook functionalities in a single device. It won’t sip too much juice despite offering Internet support wherever you are, featuring USB 2.0/mini USB2.0 connectivity for USB communication adapters, boasting productivity programs such as Open Office 3.0 while running on Linux Ubuntu 9.04 OS. Other programs that will run just fine on this include Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird, Totem video player and the Gedit text edit program.
