Sierra Wireless has taken the opportunity to roll out a bunch of new data cards from their AirCard range alongside USB modems that will be used for mobile broadband networks. The new AirCard will be the second generation that conforms to the emerging HSPA+ technology standard, and will ship sometime in Q4 later this year. First of all, the AirCard 503 data card, AirCard USB 308, and AirCard USB 309 modems will be able to support peak download speeds of 21Mbps when connected to an HSPA+ network – that’s in theory, of course. Well, if you’re always on the go and need to remain connected at all times without leaving it to chance and mercies of establishments to provide free Wi-Fi service, these new data cards and USB modems are the way to go.
