Sphere codename rumor

Sony’s PlayStation Motion Controller might finally have a name – Sphere. At least, that’s the gist of it since Sony could be using the word with developers, highlighting the glowing, colored orb that is at the center of the motion controller’s technology. After all, Sega producer Yasuhito Baba and his translator did refer to the controller as “Sphere” during an interview at Tokyo Game Show last month. He was also joined by Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi who mentioned the PlayStation Motion Controller when asked whether Gran Turismo would support Sphere.
