T-Mobile says that lack of 3G did cost them customers

Deutsche Telekom, the parent company of T-Mobile, confirmed that T-Mobile’s lack of 3G services did cost it dearly in terms of customers. That said, T-Mobile says that it can get back in the game by making its network better and prepare its 4G plans, possibly by inking a partnership with ClearWire to use its WiMax network.

In the meantime, what about upgrading the coverage for regular GSM and EDGE too? T-Mobile has the worst coverage when compared to Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. That said, they are the only carrier that has Unlicensed Mobile Access (HotSpot@home), which is pretty awesome.
