Vertical bike parking

Now here’s an interesting system for cyclists – a vertical bike parking system. This vertical parking/shower stall concept from Yinnon Lehrer makes it much safer to bike around the city, as you can be sure that whoever intends to steal your bicycle from such a location would have to be extremely adept or foolish. These parking rods could be installed at train stations and other buildings, taking up a much smaller footprint compared to traditional bike racks. This is one concept that we’d love to see materialize, that’s for sure.
