
Assuming you weren’t some of those who were unlucky enough to receive a 27-inch iMac that wouldn’t boot, or had a cracked screen, you could actually use your shiny new 27-inch iMac as a big display for your Macbook, DVD player, or other device. Setting up the Target Display mode should be a cinch, and you’ll have a rather expensive monitor after that. Check out the instructions from Apple how on to do this.
