A-DATA S596 SSD Launched

A-DATA has launched its 2.5-inch S596 SSD (solid state drive), claiming that it’s the industry’s fastest SSD, boasting 250MB/s read speed and 180MB/s write speed, enabling it to boot a Windows 7 computer in under 20 seconds. There is also a mini USB port on the drive, which could be quite handy. Storage capacities for the S596 include 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. There isn’t any mention of pricing just yet, though.
