
With Intel bullying AMD around with its Core i7 processors, AMD will be gearing up to hit back with its rumored AMD Thuban 6-core processors. While AMD hasn’t officially confirmed but, but the Thuban should sport 45nm processing cores, support DDR3, have 6MB cache and should support your AM3 motherboards. We’re looking forward to testing the multi-tasking capabilities of a 6-core AMD processor, and with it scheduled for Q2 or Q3 of 2010, it certainly looks like we won’t have to wait all that long for it to become a reality.
