Those of you who have been drooling over Apple’s latest Core i5 version of the 27-inch iMac can rejoice. Apple’s first quad-core consumer desktop is now listed as “prepared for shipment”, albeit with an unspecified shipping date. There is a possibility that the earliest orders may arrive within a week, so keep your fingers crossed. In case you’ve forgotten, this iMac will sport a 2560 x 1440 display, 1TB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and also the Radeon HD 4850 graphics card. Check out the details of the iMac at Apple’s store.
