Reports are going around that Rolls Royce could be showing off an electric version of its Phantom super-luxury car on the road before 2010 is over. Word is that the thought of the near-silence of electric propulsion, the fact that full torque is available from a standstill, would be perfectly aligned with Rolls-Royce’s core values. It’s good to see that Rolls-Royce is also working towards making cars more environmentally friendly with this move. Now we just have to wait for them to send us a unit to test drive.
