Gmail is certainly becoming (if not already) the de facto webmail service on the Internet, but that doesn’t mean that folks don’t enjoy checking their email while offline. Gmail Labs introduced offline Gmail a while back, but it had one rather irritating trait: it doesn’t allow you to pick which emails to download/keep offline. Fortunately Gmail has announced an update that should help sort this out. The new feature allows you to choose which messages get downloaded, allowing you to filter what gets downloaded (or not). One more step forward for Google’s Gmail!
