
Haleron’s latest 7” MIO smartbook will run on Windows CE 6.0, although this ain’t no speed runner with a VIA ARM 266MHz processor that plods along, aided by a maximum of 256MB RAM, up to 4GB internal memory, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, 10/100 LAN, a trio of USB 2.0 ports and an SD memory card slot. If you need to surf anywhere and everywhere without depending on the mercies of free Wi-Fi networks, you can opt to throw in the 3G USB modem as well. Priced at $189 a pop, you can choose from pink, green, red, black and silver colors.
