
At last, Jolicloud is able to work with netbooks that rely on the Intel Atom Z5xx processors alongside the older GMA500 graphics chipset. This Linux-based operating system was originally designed for netbooks, and is meant to make it easier to run web apps as though they were desktop applications themselves. Great to see the more sluggish GMA500 chipset supported though. Currently, Jolicloud is looking for volunteers to help test the OS out on specified hardware in the coming weeks.
