
For those of you who thought the global economy has started to pick up again, and we’ve weathered the storm, you’ll want to take note of Microsoft’s latest action. Despite massive job cuts back in January, the company has slashed an additional 800 jobs across its global operations, with about 200 of those positions coming from its headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Hopefully the release of Windows 7 will help Microsoft steady the ship a bit?
