Moxi 3-Tuner HD DVR

If you’re complaining that TiVo hasn’t given you anything new or exciting recently, you’ll want to check out the new Moxi HD DVR from Arris. This new model is almost the same as the current model, except that it comes equipped with 3 tuners, allowing you to record 3 separate stations at one time off a single multi-stream Cable Card. Of course, if you’re looking for bargains, the additional benefit of newer models is that older models (almost) always get their prices lowered, and so the two-tuner HD DVR is now going for $499, which is a significant drop from the original $799. Will this be replacing your TiVo anytime soon?
