Qualcomm And Apple iPhone Deal?

Are Apple and Qualcomm busy striking a deal for an iPhone in 2010? Apparently Qualcomm is in talks with Apple to work together, especially since the popular smartphones don’t use its 3G chips. The iPhone, BlackBerry and Palm Pre all do not utilize chips from Qualcomm at the moment, and that’s certainly something that Qualcomm would like to change. There are also rumors of a new hybrid chip that would allow dual compatibility with both AT&T and Verizon networks in the US. Will Qualcomm and Apple strike a deal?
