Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs has lifted the curtain on their first Snapdragon-powered smartbook which will arrive Stateside today. The hardware is provided by Lenovo while AT&T will be the carrier of choice. With the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform running within, you also get integrated wireless features and graphics with 720p HD video capabilities for a complete portable entertainment package. This chipset will also be made available for smartphones, helping bridge the digital divide between cellphones and notebooks in the future. No idea on the pricing of this puppy though, so hopefully AT&T will offer a decent subsidized price.
