Looks like the Ricoh GXR has made it to official status, with the main focus of this camera being its lens units that will hold both a lens and a matching sensor within a sealed chassis. The whole idea behind this is to prevent dust bunnies from starting a family within, while helping provide a tailored pairing of optics and electronics. You also benefit from zoom motors, aperture and shutter mechanisms from the body thanks to the lens unit, while an ergonomic design makes it all the more user-friendly for the masses. Looks like the Micro Four Thirds family had best sit up and take notice of the latest bad boy in town.
