Verizon to offer Vaio P?

Word on the street has it that Verizon Wireless might be offering the Sony Vaio P netbook for a mere $299 albeit with a 2-year contract. Sounds like a pretty decent deal no matter how you look at it, where you will snag the highly portable Vaio P alongside Windows 7, a 160GB hard drive and 2GB RAM. There is also a chance of a $100 rebate happening with this deal, but really, all that’s left to be done would be to wait until Thursday when Verizon makes an official announcement on their business matters.
