VIA has updated their line of Nano processors with new Nano 3000 chips that will boast a 64-bit architecture, differing in speeds ranging from 1GHz to 2GHz. Regardless of their clock speed, all of them can handle 1080p HD video playback with aplomb, and can outperform its predecessors by over 20% in PCMark 05 and 3Dmark 2006 benchmarks. These new processors will play nice with older VIA sockets, so if you’re rocking to motherboards that can handle VIA C7, C7-M, Eden and earlier Nano processors, you won’t have any problem with all half dozen models in the VIA Nano 3000 series.
