Yamaha has announced 2 new mini audio systems that support the iPhone and iPod, namely the MCR-140 and MCR-040. The MCR-140 is rather unique because that it can playback music from and iPod wirelessly through Yamaha’s proprietary yAired standard, which is quite cool, especially since Yamaha claims that yAired has no delays and better quality audio over that delivered by Bluetooth. Both the devices sport a CD player, front USB panel, FM radio and auxiliary audio jack inputs. Expect to pay $400 and $280 for the MCR-140 and MCR-040 respectively.
