YouTube To Support 1080p Videos

With more and more devices supporting video capture of up to 1080p, it’s no surprise to get an announcement from YouTube stating that the site will allow users to upload 1080p HD video content without limiting playback to a lower resolution. The updated interface will allow users to choose between 720p and 1080p, helping YouTube keep pace with certain video portals such as SmugMug that already support 1080p.
