
Word is out that Acer has placed a large order for Nvidia’s Ion 2-based chips which were specially designed to support Intel’s upcoming Atom N450, N470, D510 or D410 CPUs as well as related chipsets from Acer themselves. Nvidia has yet to issue a media statement, so we’ll just have to wait and see whether this thing pans out correctly or not.
