Acer To Launch Chrome OS Netbook

Things certainly are looking good for Google’s browser-based Chrome OS. Acer has even announced plans to launch a netbook powered by said OS in the second half of 2010. Acer’s chairman, JT Wang, has even mentioned that he thinks that Acer will be the first to market a machine powered by Chrome OS. Considering that Acer was the first large manufacturer to get Google’s Android running on a netbook, we wouldn’t be too surprised if they managed to be the first. Stay tuned, and well update you on this.
