Archos 1 Vision unveiled

Archos has further enhanced their lineup with the Archos 1 Vision entry-level device. You won’t expect this to be an iPod touch killer – no sir, by all means it is meant to introduce you to the world of digital audio players – nothing more, nothing less. You get 4GB of storage space with this alongside a 1.5″ display, coupled with voice recording capability, support for MP3, WMA. FLAC, WAV and APE formats, and up to 21 hours of continuous battery playback. Guess there is no video playback here so this won’t qualify for the PMP category. At least it makes for a cheap purchase at 39.99 Euros a pop, and will most probably retail for the equivalent figure should it ever enter Stateside.
