Will robotic vacuum cleaners take off like how netbooks became popular overnight? Probably not quite as fast, but robotic vacuum cleaners like the Roomba have been popular for some time now, and it seems that Asus wants to get in on the fun too, with its ECleaner robot. Said robot will come armed with a 6000-hour UV light that will also help disinfect your floor, and also comes with a slot that can be used for spreading fragrance. It can be controlled via remote control, and will be battery powered (obviously). The ECleaner should be available in China and Taiwan before 2010 arrives, and will be going for about $150.
