This is one robot that definitely creeps me out – a robotic baby simulator that might just haunt my dreams when I go to sleep. After all, you’re talking to a person who gets freaked out by those dolls that close their eyes when you place them on their crib. Dubbed Yotaro, this robotic baby simulator is able to portray a range of facial expressions, movements and physiological characteristics similar to that of a real baby. It relies on a sophisticated emotion-control system to react to whoever comes near it, reacting accordingly. No crocodile tears with the Yotaro as it can shed real tears on its 2D face. Looks more like a devilish Teletubby than anything else if you ask me. Good thing it stops being realistic at shedding tears instead of pooping and peeing.
