Blio e-book format being readied

Apart from the Amazon Kindle doing gangbusters in its sales, there is another platform where e-books might just thrive, which is none other than the almighty iPhone and iPod touch. Ray Kurzweil is ready to roll out a new e-book format that targets both devices specifically, where this format has been optimized for devices mentioned. This is made possible by allowing for complex image and text formatting. Apart from that, expect full color support to be thrown in (bye bye battery life!). Expect Blio to make a public announcement at CES next week, where we hope to cover it.
