Blumpit is a free Firefox extension that offers a custom touch interface that will piggyback on the browser, regardless of the machine’s allegiance to either Windows, Mac or Linux where operating systems are concerned. With a Google Chrome version coming in the future, Blumpit will ovver a homescreen with icon based shortcuts that are properly lined up in a grid and spread over a quartet of draggable workspaces, making it somewhat similar to Android. You will also get a virtual keyboard and plugin catalog through the service, with Blumpit’s main brain Oliver claiming the company aims to sell the tablet as demonstrated over their website, too.
