The Broadcom Crystal HD video decoder is one card that most netbook owners might want to consider, since it enables HD video playback on a netbook that runs off the Intel Atom processor alongside an integrated graphics chipset. Well, the Linux version of the driver source code is now available, where it will work with all Linux kernels 2.6.11 and newer. Basically, it enables one to configure just about any Linux distro to function with the Broadcom card.
