Bug Locks Microsoft Office Users Out

Here’s an issue that might get folks who are using Office 2003 with files protected using Microsoft’s Rights Management Service (RMS). It seems the bug kicked in on December 11th, and it results in users not being able to open Office 2003 documents protected with RMS or save Office 2003 documents protected with RMS. This bug does not affect Office 2007. Microsoft is obviously busy working to sort this issue but, but if you’re using documents with RMS on Office 2003, you might want to take note of this. Better late than never, right?
