Canon could very well roll out DSLRs in the near future that comes with a touchscreen display, which might see the game change yet again just like how Live View displays gained traction among DSLR enthusiasts slowly but surely after its introduction, being an indispensable part of a DSLR today. What you see here is part of the US Patent Application No. 12/422,695, which was originally filed by Canon on April 13, 2009 and published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on October 22, 2009. Guess we can look forward to future Canon DSLRs with anticipation.
