eviGroup has decided to redesign its upcoming Wallet Android-powered MID in order to keep up wtih the times (and perhaps avoiding a lawsuit or two considering its previous release was hugely inspired by Apple with a host of iPhone-esque design cues). This redesign is radical in a sense where the reverse gear was engaged with its previous aesthetics discarded. Instead, the upcoming Wallet will now come with a thin two-tone bezel which surrounds the 5″ WVGA touchscreen display, alongside a front-facing webcam which has been mounted right smack in the middle of the bezel. It seems as though the Wallet MID will make its debut next month – hopefully at CES? Apart from its aesthetics, everything else within remains the same.
