The Acer Liquid A1 has been approved by the FCC, making the first Android-powered smartphone from Acer to boast AT&T 3G support across the 850/1900 MHz bands, which would mean AT&T might have a pretty good chance of offering this to the masses when available. Underneath the hood, you will find a snappy 1GHz Snapdragon processor alongside a 3.5″ WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation, access to social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, Flickr), a 3.5mm headset jack and a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus to get you started out of the box.
