Samsung’s upcoming digital camera, the ST5500, has already showed up on the FCC website with some pretty impressive specifications including the ability to shoot 14.2-megapixel images, a 3.5″ display, Wi-Fi connectivity to help you send photos via email and posting them to a photo-sharing site instantly without the need for a computer, 100MB internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, 7x optical zoom and the ability to capture 1,280 x 720 video at 30fps. It ought to hit the market sometime next year, and it would be prudent to save up a decent amount if you want one.
Update 12/21: Samsung has contacted us and here’s the official company stance: “Information and technical specifications made public by the FCC regarding the Samsung ST5500 are not final and are subject to change prior to launch. Final specifications and details will be made available by Samsung at a later date with the official launch of the product.”
