Cisco Systems has just announced the FlipShare TV wireless distribution system officially, which isnt too long after it first surfaced in FCC filings sometime in late November. This device is able to transmit video signals between a computer and a TV, working just like their line of Flip camcorders where simplicity in design and functionality is concerned. The USB dongle is touted to work within a 200 foot radius – we presume this is within an open air space and not modern homes and apartments which have plenty of walls. The FlipShare TV will retail for $150 and ships later this week.
