HCL of India has rolled out yet another netbook into an already overcrowded market, with their model ME 06. This looks more or less a standard netbook from this year with its Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, a 10.1″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive and Windows XP Home Edition. Interestingly enough, it features 3G connectivity and a SIM card slot, which means you need not leave yourself to the mercies of a Wi-Fi network wherever you go. Folks living in India can pick up the HCL ME 06 for around $465.
