In tough times like these, iRobiQ can still find employment in South Korean primary schools, not as a teacher but more of an administration assistant. The iRobiQ will help check and verify attendance, welcomes kids to class as well as figure out just how they are feeling on that day. Apparently, kids love the robot, coupled with the fact that the early childhood education market is also extremely lucrative, so it is a no brainer to put two and two together. Guess kids are getting more and more accustomed to robots while growing up, making us wonder whether going out with a robot girlfriend in the future might be a similar problem to those who have a blow-up doll as their other half in today’s context.
