What do you do with a year plus handset? Why, introduce a rehash that comes with better features – in this case, the LG Lotus has been upgraded with a digital TV (DTV) chip and will be re-announced in the US. Relying on the LG2160A ATSC-M/H chip that also sees action in Dell, Kenwood and Hyundai Kia Motors offerings, the new LG Lotus will also come with a rather unsightly external mobile TV antenna. Other than that, virtually everything else remains the same including the QVGA internal display, QWERTY keypad, 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot.
