LG Display just penned some deals that will enable it to produce e-paper screens. The Korean company has come to an agreement with E Ink as well as Hydis Technology to develop e-paper modules in addition to cross-purchase technology between the two companies. LG will be throwing around $30.5 million into the latter with the latest move, but remained coy as to whether they will also hop on the e-book reader bandwagon or remain content to produce just displays.
