Lucet lamp concept

What you see here could possibly change the way we live for the better, assuming the Lucet lamp concept actually enters production. The brainchild of industrial designer Rui Palma, this window-sticking solar-powered light comes in a special shape that makes it a snap to move around, allowing you to come up with your very own beautiful design that is tastefully done without looking out of place. Unfortunately, we are left scratching our heads wondering why are AAA batteries used to store converted solar power instead of other battery technology like lithium ion, which means you’ll need to expose the Lucet to a few days of direct sunlight to get a full charge. On the other hand, if it is particularly cloudy for the week and you need some light, just pop in some AAA batteries and you’re good to go. Looks more suitable for mood lighting than anything else.
