The McIntosh MXA60 audio system is certainly one high end unit that targets audiophiles who won’t stop to think twice about dropping some serious coin for it – to the tune of $7,500, if you want to be exact. The 60th anniversary edition of McIntosh’s first-ever standalone integrated audio system is commemorated with the MXA60 which is a vacuum tube preamplifer-powered, CD/SACD/MP3 player. In the current economic climate, we’re guessing many people will just look at this wistfully instead.
