MIT offers gestural computing

Just when you thought that Microsoft’s Project Natal was the real deal when it comes to being literally in the game, along comes the MIT Media Lab and their three-dimensional gestural computing project which is capable of performing both multitouch functions as well as hand movement recognition in the space in front of the screen. This is made possible through integrated optical sensors located behind the display that will see what we’re doing by the LCD alternating rapidly.
