Motorola Droid suffers from e-mail deletion bug

Some folks on the Verizon forums have complained about their Motorola Droid (read our review here) handsets deleting mails from their e-mail accounts, and the dastardly process repeats itself whenever users set up their account all over again (which can get tedious after the umpteenth time). Right now, mostly corporate e-mail accounts are affected, but good thing both calendars and contacts remain unaffected by this bug. There is still no official word from Motorola on a fix for this dilemma.
