Nokia has just announced its 2710 Navigation Edition, where it is deemed to be the cheapest (to make it sound better, why not use the term “most affordable”) cellphone from the Finnish manufacturer that features Nokia Maps and GPS navigation capability. Meant to make most of an impact in both developed and developing countries, the Nokia 2710 Navigation Edition will come with turn-by-turn driving navigation with voice guidance, straight line navigation and a built-in digital compass. Other features comprise of a 2.2″ QVGA display, a 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, stereo FM radio with RDS, a 2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. Tipped to roll out in Q2 next year for around €110, each purchase then will be accompanied by a car holder and a car charger to get you started right out of the box.
