If you’re on O2’s network, chances are that you experienced some network issues with the carrier before Christmas. Now O2 has come out and offered an apology via the Financial Times. In its apology, the carrier claims that was it was caught unawares by excessive data use and described the problems as a “short term blip”. According to O2, there will be more base stations rolled out, which should certainly help boost its network. An additional 200 base stations in London will also be added, which will certainly help to increase the amount of stress it can take, especially during periods of heavy traffic.
