Old iPhones Get Ugly Video Recording

Sometimes you have to wonder if Apple approved this app just to make fun of first-gen iPhone and iPhone 3G owners. After all, Apple always boasted video recording as one of the features of the iPhone 3GS, despite everybody knowing that you could get video recording on any iPhone as long as you jailbreak it and install the right software. This officially approved app, iVideoCamera, costs 99 cents and certainly is lacking in quality. First off, video resolution is 160×213, and you’ll be able to record your low-res videos at the blazing speed of 3 frames-per-second. If that wasn’t enough to dampen your spirits, you’ll only be able to record for one minute. This will probably push a lot of iPhone owners over the edge and get them to jailbreak their iPhones.
