Oppo Digital does cheaper Blu-ray

Blu-ray players have come down in price over the years, but the adoption rate has been far from satisfactory. Oppo Digital decided to join the Blu-ray game by offering their $499 BDP-83 Blu-ray player and a $899 Special Edition version in the past, but word has it they will use CES 2010 to roll out a newer model that will be much easier on your pockets. Could it be cheaper than the PS3, which in our books, is currently one of the Blu-ray players around that offers the most bang for your buck. We might be able to look forward to streaming options being added to the features list, but let’s wait and see.
