Pandora heads for in-vehicle entertainment

Internet radio provider Pandora has set their eyes on the automotive segment, aiming to provide a deeper integration with car radios and controls. They are looking at a transitional phase now where Pandora’s smartphone applications can be controlled straight from the dashboard or steering-wheel interfaces. The future will see no connectivity with smartphones since the service itself will be integrated into Web-connected cars.
